Canadiens assign Jesse Ylönen to Laval

The 22-year-old forward is the latest player to join the Habs' AHL affiliate

BROSSARD -- The Canadiens assigned forward Jesse Ylönen to the AHL's Laval Rocket on Saturday.

Head coach Dominique Ducharme confirmed the news after practice.
Ylönen was a second-round selection (35th overall) in 2018.
He registered 17 points (9 goals, 8 assists) in 29 games with Laval last season.
There are 31 players remaining at Canadiens training camp.
