Canadiens agree to terms with Hunter Shinkaruk
The 23-year-old forward inked a one-year, two-way contract after being acquired from the Calgary Flames on Monday

MONTREAL - After acquiring forward Hunter Shinkaruk from the Calgary Flames on Monday, the Canadiens agreed to terms with the 23-year-old forward on a one-year, two-way contract for the 2018-19 season.
The agreement will be pay the Calgary native $650,000 at the NHL level and $80,000 in AHL salary, with $105,000 guaranteed.
Shinkaruk spent last season with the Flames' AHL affiliate - the Stockton Heat - registering 17 goals and 32 points in 63 games.
He boasts 15 games of NHL experience with Vancouver and Calgary, collecting two goals and four points.
