29 - The netminder's experience extends into the postseason as well, as Allen has 29 games of playoff action on his resume. He has compiled an 11-11-1 career record, 2.06 goals-against average, and .924 save percentage. Allen suited up for five postseason games for the Blues this year, going 2-1-1 with a 1.89 GAA and .935 SV%. Allen earned a Stanley Cup ring as the backup when St. Louis won its first-ever title last season.
2 - When it comes to awards and distinctions for Allen, good things seem to come in twos. He has a pair of medals on the international scene, having captured gold at the 2008 Under-18 World Championship, followed by silver at the 2010 IIHF World Hockey Championship. He has twice been named top goaltender, picking up the distinction as the Canadian Hockey League Goaltender of the Year for 2009-10, and winning the Aldege "Baz" Bastien Award as the AHL's top goalie for 2013-14 after becoming the first backstop since 1984-85 to lead that league in wins (33), GAA (2.03), and save percentage (.928). Allen also has the unique distinction of being named to the NHL All-Rookie team twice (2012-13 and 2014-15).

2 - Speaking of good things coming in twos, this will mark the second time Allen will be repping a Montreal sweater, having previously called the Verdun Auditorium home with the QMJHL's Montreal Juniors between 2008 and 2010.
