Bleu-Blanc-Bouge Rink

by Staff Writer / Montréal Canadiens

The Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation broke ground on its sixth Bleu-Blanc-Bouge rink this month at Longueuil's Parc Lionel-Groulx, making it the first rink to be constructed outside of Montreal. Set to open this winter, locals on the South Shore will be able to benefit from the multi-sport refrigerated surface which shares the same dimensions as the one at the Bell Centre. With a planned four-month construction period and an investment of $1.4 million, the official inauguration is set for later this year.
