"Since the start of the pandemic, our priority as an organization is to take every possible measure to ensure that we create a safe and reassuring work environment for our employees, our teams and prepare for the eventual return of fans at the Bell Centre," said Daniel Trottier, Groupe CH's Executive Vice President and Chief Operations and Venues Officer. "Our teams have worked tirelessly over the past several months to establish safety and risk management protocols that meet the highest standards of safety and compliance with health measures as requested by the Public Health authorities. This GBAC STAR certification validates the outstanding work performed by our teams of cleaning professionals."
The GBAC STAR accreditation is mainly designed for large facilities, including stadiums, major venues as well as airports. The Bell Centre therefore earned the same accreditation as Montreal's Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau International Airport, warranting that the building is liable to welcome back fans in a completely safe environment, when appropriate.
