The Canadiens may get the chance to further torment Tim Thomas and the Bruins come playoff time.

MONTREAL -- Fresh off clinching the Northeast Division crown, the Canadiens know they are at least assured one of the top two spots in the East. As for who the Habs will face in the first round, that is still anyone’s guess.

While the scoreboard watching will surely not be as intense for the Habs from here on out, the same can’t be said for their potential first-round opponents, whose playoff fate may come down to the wire.

Here’s a quick look at what will be a wild final weekend of the NHL season for playoff-hungry teams in the East and how they fared against the Habs this season.
