- Carey Price was examined by team doctor Dr. David Mulder this morning. He was diagnosed with a mild concussion. He will be out for the rest of the season.

- Pierre Groulx hung his goalie pads up and was back on his skates with the coaching staff as netminder Robert Mayer geared up for morning practice with the Canadiens on Wednesday.

- Mayer’s Bulldogs teammate Gabriel Dumont was also at practice on Wednesday preparing for the match up against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

- Peter Budaj will be between the pipes for Wednesday’s game against the Bolts. It will be Budaj’s third career start against the Tampa Bay team.

- Randy Cunneyworth confirmed that Tomas Kaberle will not be suiting up for Wednesday’s game. He also confirmed that Gabriel Dumont will center his own line with Aaron Palushaj and Brad Staubitz.

- Cunneyworth also reassured that Erik Cole, who wasn’t at practice on Wednesday, was having a therapy day and will be playing against the Bolts that night.
