-The Canadiens held their second full practice in as many days on Tuesday in Brossard as they continue to prepare for their first-round playoff series against the Ottawa Senators that will kick off on Thursday night at the Bell Centre.

-Thirty minutes before Tuesday’s practice was set to officially start, the Canadiens’ assistant coaches jumped on the ice along with the players to get in a little extra work on the power play and penalty kill.

-Since you can’t start a playoff beard if you already have a regular season one, a handful of players decided to get in an early shave and reset their facial hair to zero, with most notably a clean-shaven Brandon Prust hitting the ice for practice.

Lines and pairings at practice:

Gallagher - Eller - Galchenyuk
Prust - White - Moen
Desharnais - Bourque - Pacioretty
Gionta - Plekanec - Ryder
Halpern - Armstrong

Gorges - Diaz
Markov - Subban
Bouillon - Tinordi
Kaberle - Drewiske
