-The Canadiens held an optional practice on Thursday morning a few hours ahead of their game against the Jets in Winnipeg.

-Players not on the ice today: Tomas Plekanec, Brian Gionta, Michael Ryder, Brandon Prust, David Desharnais and Rene Bourque.

-Jarred Tinordi will be in the lineup to face the Jets on Thursday night and is expected to play in a pairing with veteran Francis Bouillon. Yannick Weber will be a healthy scratch for the game.

-Carey Price will get the start in nets for the Habs.

-Head coach Michel Therrien mentioned that there is a possibility that Gabriel Dumont could replace Jeff Halpern in Thursday’s lineup, but the decision will only be made after the pre-game warm up.

- Hamilton Bulldogs forward Danny Kristo will represent the United States in the World Championships slated to kick off on May 3.
