-The St-John Sea Dogs and Nathan Beaulieu will square off against the Chicoutimi Sagueneens in the QMJHL semi-finals. Up to now, Beaulieu has registered eight points in as many games, coming up with a plus-15 differential.

-Morgan Ellis, Michael Bournival and the Shawinigan Cataractes saw their playoff stretch stopped yesterday, after falling 3-2 to the Chicoutimi Sagueneens in game number 7. Both players will nonetheless be part of the Memorial Cup at the end of May in Shawinigan. Ellis recorded 11 points in 11 games whereas Bournival registered seven points in 11 games.

-In the WHL, the Tri-City Americans along with Patrick Holland are still staying afloat, with game number 7 being played out tonight. Five out of the six games were decided by one goal, three of them scored in overtime. Holland has recorded 12 points in nine games.

-In the OHL, the London Knights and Jarred Tinordi kick off the semi finals Thursday night against the Kitchener Rangers. In the first two rounds, the 6’7” defenseman tallied five points in 10 games.
