Shaw

Andrew Shaw of the Montreal Canadiens had knee surgery on Wednesday and will miss the start of next season.
The 26-year-old forward injured his left knee and sustained a concussion during a 4-2 win against the Dallas Stars on March 13 and missed the remainder of the season. The Canadiens did not qualify for the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Shaw and the Canadiens agreed to proceed with the surgery once his concussion was fully resolved. The recovery period is expected to be a minimum of six months.
In 51 games this season, Shaw had 20 points (10 goals, 10 assists). He has 186 points (92 goals, 94 assists) in 441 NHL games with the Chicago Blackhawks and Canadiens.
