Schnarr-Hamond-BI

MONTREAL -- Montreal Canadiens general manager, Kent Hughes, announced on Monday that goaltender Andrew Hammond has been traded to the New Jersey Devils in exchange for forward Nate Schnarr.

Schnarr is a 6'03'' and 185 lbs forward who registered 13 goals and 13 assists in 43 AHL games with the Utica Comets this season. The 23-year-old forward also served 26 penalty minutes. The Waterloo, ON native was selected in the third round (75th overall) by the Arizona Coyotes at the 2017 NHL Draft.
Hammond was acquired from the Minnesota Wild last February 12.
