MONTREAL -- The Montreal Canadiens announced on Sunday a pause of activities as a preventive measure until December 26 inclusively, following the announcement by the National Hockey League to postpone games requiring cross-border travel to a later date.

The measure announced earlier today by the NHL affects the December 20, 22 and 23 games, which are now postponed.
The Canadiens organization has followed, and will continue to follow, all recommendations regarding the health and safety of its players, staff and the community, as put in place by the NHL as well as local authorities.
