MONTREAL -- The 2022 Memorial Cup starts tonight at TD Station in Saint John, NB.

Three Canadiens prospects are vying for the Canadian Hockey League championship: defenseman Kaiden Guhle (Edmonton Oil Kings), forward Jan Mysak (Hamilton Bulldogs) and defenseman Arber Xhekaj (Hamilton Bulldogs).
Mysak, Xhekaj and the rest of the Bulldogs play the tournament-opener against the host Saint John Sea Dogs. Puck drop is 6:00 p.m. EDT on TSN and RDS.
Guhle and the Oil Kings begin their quest for the coveted trophy on Tuesday night versus the QMJHL champion Shawinigan Cataractes.

The event hasn't been contested since 2019 when the QMJHL's Rouyn-Noranda Huskies claimed the title.
