/ Boston Bruins
William Thomas of Boston joined Bruins' President Cam Neely and Mass Lottery Chief of Staff Al Grazioso to participate in the first "Mass Lottery On-Ice Challenge" during the second intermission of Thursday night's Bruins/Flyers game. William had the chance to choose one of 30 oversized Mass Lottery tickets placed on the ice for his chance to win either $100,000 or $250,000. Of the 30 tickets placed on the ice, 29 of those tickets were worth $100,000 and one grand prize ticket was worth $250,000. William choose "lucky number 13" worth $100,000.
William won the opportunity to participate in the "Mass Lottery On-Ice Challenge" by entering the Mass Lottery Bruins Instant Game Second Chance Drawing. This was the first of five Second Chance On-Ice Challenges where fans will have the chance to win $100,000 or $250,000. Mass Lottery Bruins $5 Instant Game tickets are available throughout Massachusetts. Last year, the Massachusetts State Lottery distributed over $898 million in Direct Local Aid to cities and towns of the Commonwealth as a result of lottery ticket sales.
