Ok, so you are probably wondering where the afternoon blog was today.
Um. Let me rephrase that -- I hope you were wondering where the second blog of the day was today.
Patience, my faithful True Believers.
Here’s the deal. There was no practice today, but there was plenty to see and write about in the land of the Spoked-B.
You see (er, I mean, you read), earlier today Bruins back liner Dennis Wideman got a chance to skate with the talented and beautiful Olympic figure skater Sasha Cohen (right) and actually donned a pair of figure skates in the process…pictures are coming. I promise.
And to boot, yours truly got to interview the talented young skater.
Yes, it was quite a day.
Highlights included Mr. Wideman holding hands with Ms. Cohen as they tooled around the ice, and the new Bruins defenseman having his skating technique critiqued by the young figure skaters he encountered at the Simoni Memorial Rink in Cambridge.
It was all so very "Cutting Edge."
You remember that movie: "Toe pick!"
By they way, you haven’t lived until you’ve heard skater Sasha Cohen mimic Borat comedian Sacha Baron Cohen.
