Update: Julien Says Pastrnak Tweaked His Shoulder

by Caryn Switaj / Boston Bruins

WILMINGTON, MA - David Pastrnak left the first session of Saturday's training camp practices early, and did not return to the ice.

After going into the boards during a drill, he skated right off the ice and into the locker room.

"Tweaked his shoulder," Bruins Head Coach Claude Juilen told reporters at Ristuccia Arena following the day's sessions. "So I don't know how serious it's going to be but very, very doubtful for tomorrow."

"I would think, if anything, he'll be stiff and we wouldn't take that chance, but I don't think it's too, too serious."

Training camp shifts to Providence on Sunday for the Black & Gold Scrimmage at the Dunkin Donuts Center at 5:00 p.m. ET.

Pastrnak started camp on David Krejci's right wing. The 18-year-old Czech native would have possibly had the opportunity to skate with Krejci in game action on Sunday.

With seven preseason games on tap after the scrimmage, Pastrnak will have to wait for that chance.
