Good morning folks, I am waiting on word from Montreal as to our starter this evening and am working out of the Bish Cave due to a bought with a nasty cold (cough, cough, sniff, and sneeze).
At practice yesterday the lines looked like this:
Tenkrat - Savard - Murray Sturm - Bergeron - Boyes Mowers - Primeau - Donovan Chistov - Stastny - Hoggan Alberts - Chara B. Stuart - Mara York - Jurcina
Both goaltenders looked ready to go on Monday.
"I got a very good report [on Toivonen]," said Lewis. "He stopped everybody in the shootout and he played a strong game.
"I am glad to see him play and we had tried to get him into a game here. We’ll see what happens for tomorrow."
Coach made no bones about it. The upcoming games are pivotal.
"We’re gradually trying to get into that top eight," said Head Coach Dave Lewis. "It’s a hard position to get to. We’re in an important time for us, trying to gather points."
But the Bruins can’t make as many mistakes as they did versus the Devils.
"The last game, we had some breakdowns -- system breakdowns," said Lewis. "And you can’t, against a team like New Jersey, who took advantage of the lead and they protected the lead very well. We created some problems for ourselves.
"You’re not going to beat a team like that…when you break down more than once or twice in a game. You can get away with some breakdowns, because you will break down.
"But they capitalized on them and we broke down too many times," he said.
