Hopefully, you True Believers had a second to check out my piece on Byron Bitz this morning.

It was great to hear from him and also to hear what he thought his personal best moment was last season.

He talked about his two goal game and the "We want Bitz" chant from the TD Garden crowd.

"It was definitely that game," said Bitz. "In terms of personal experience...that stuff doesn’t happen to the fourth line wingers that often, so I just think that says a lot about the fans,

"They realize the situation – fourth liner gets two goals – and the fact that they were behind me speaks a lot about them, their knowledge about the game and just the respect that they have.

"I do pride myself on my work ethic and just [being] a hit hard...type of guy and the fact that they appreciate that has definitely been a motivating factor for me," he said.

I thought all of you would like to hear that -- nice job folks!

Hey, just wanted to point out that Shawn Thornton, his wife Erin and Kevin Cottle from Hell's Kitchen will be cooking for homeless vets on Thursday.

With 13-years of experience, Cottle a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America (and a Bruins fan from Plymouth, Massachusetts) who resides in Middleton, Connecticut, has worked in kitchens from here to the Rockies and should be bringing some creative food love to Boston's veterans in need.

According to the show's website: Chef Gordon Ramsay welcomes the nation's most talented and trained chefs yet to a sixth course of his unscripted series HELL'S KITCHEN.

Each week Ramsay grills the ambitious hopefuls, putting them through rigorous culinary challenges and testing them to see who can handle the pressure of a fast-paced kitchen where only the skilled survive. In each episode, Ramsay will eliminate one chef while the rest remain to fillet their way toward the grand prize of a Head Chef position at Araxi Restaurant in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada.

Established in 1981, Araxi continues to raise the culinary bar in Whistler. The winning contestant will have the added privilege of joining executive chef James Walt in welcoming the world during the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games
