SCHEDULE UPDATE:
Please note that the Bruins' pregame morning skate on Sunday, February 28 in preparation for the game against Tampa Bay is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. at TD Garden.

STAT OF THE WEEK I: Brad Marchand and Loui Eriksson have both been on fire in the month of February. In 12 games this month, Marchand has scored 11 goals and Eriksson has scored eight. Marchand’s 11 goals are tied for the most scored by any player in February, while Eriksson’s eight goals are tied for fifth-most this month. Alexander Ovechkin (WSH) also has 11 goals in the month of February.

STAT OF THE WEEK II: Brad Marchand and Matt Beleskey are two of just three forwards in the NHL who have recorded a plus-minus rating of +13 or better and at least 48 penalty minutes so far this season. Marchand has a +17 rating and 82 penalty minutes, while Beleskey has a +13 rating and 48 penalty minutes. The other forward to accomplish that feat this season is Nashville’s James Neal, who has a +17 rating and 59 penalty minutes.

SPECIAL TEAMS: Boston’s power play is ranked fourth in the NHL, going 39-for-175 (22.3%). The Bruins’ penalty kill is 82.8%, good for eighth best in the league. Currently, the Bruins are ranked first in the NHL in shorthanded goals against with only one in 61 games. They are ranked third in shorthanded goals for with eight in 61 games.

BRUINS ACADEMY: Catch up on all three episodes of Bruins Academy! The series is a fast-paced, educational, Black & Gold-themed program created for youth who love the game of hockey. In the latest episode, set to air at 4 p.m. on March 12 on NESN, Patrice Bergeron checks in from Nashville, Tuukka Rask answers questions from young fans and the Bruins medical staff takes you inside the training room to see how they treat a significant injury like the one to Chris Kelly. One 30-minute episode will air per month on NESN, and the first three episodes can be viewed on www.BostonBruins.com and on the Bruins mobile app.

UPCOMING BRUINS ALUMNI GAMES IN VT AND NH: The Bruins Alumni will be heading North for a two game road trip this weekend. First up is a game against the Union Arena Bears on Saturday, February 27 at the Union Arena in Woodstock, Vermont. Game time is set for 4:30 p.m. and will benefit the Union Arena Fund. And on Sunday, February 28 they Bruins Alumni will return to the Everett Arena in Concord, NH for a 3:00 p.m. game against the Stephen Cmar ROTC Crusaders. The game will benefit the Stephen Cmar ROTC Scholarship Fund. For more information, please visit the “Off the Ice & Around Town” section in the Week Ahead.

WATCH A GAME IN RASK’S SUITE IN SUPPORT OF DENNA LAING: Tuukka Rask is donating his personal suite (12 tickets, including food) for the Tuesday, March 1 game against the Calgary Flames. ECHOSTOR GOALS FOR CHARITY: For every goal the Bruins score during the 2015-16 season, EchoStor will donate $100 to the Boston Bruins Foundation. To date, EchoStor has raised $18,600 for the Bruins Foundation.

ST. PATRICK'S DAY JERSEYS & HATS: The Bruins St. Patrick's Day jersey is now available on www.BostonProShop.com. This new jersey features tartan plaid striping on the shoulders and arms. BRUINS ON THE AIRWAVES: Bruins defenseman Torey Krug has been confirmed as a weekly call-in guest with 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Scott Zolak and Marc Bertrand (Zo and Bertrand), which airs weekdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Adam McQuaid will be a regular guest on 100.7 WZLX with Kevin Karlson and Pete McKenzie (Karlson & McKenzie), which airs weekdays from 5:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Call-in days and times are dependent upon the B’s schedule. Kevan Miller will be calling in to 98.5 The Sports Hub with Fred Toucher and Rich Shertenlieb (Toucher and Rich). The show airs weekdays 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.

UPCOMING GAMES BROADCAST SCHEDULE: NESN reporters Jack Edwards, Andy Brickley and Sarah Davis will be covering the Bruins’ upcoming matchups against the Calgary Flames on March 1, the Chicago Blackhawks on March 3 and the Washington Capitals on March 5. The February 28 game against Tampa Bay will be covered by NBCSN. TVAS will cover the Tampa Bay game, the Calgary game and the Chicago game. BOSTON BRUINS FOUNDATION CASINO NIGHT
WHAT: The Boston Bruins Foundation will host their annual Casino Night featuring the current Bruins roster and Bruins alumni on Saturday, March 12 from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the Westin Boston Waterfront. At “Casino Night” fans will have the opportunity to play at casino tables alongside their favorite current and former Bruins players. Tickets can be purchased by visiting: bostonbruins.com/casinonight. Ticket costs include $1,000 worth of chips for casino games, but do not hold any cash value. The event will include both a silent and a live auction including event tickets, gift certificates and more. Must be 21 years of age or older to attend. All proceeds from Casino Night will benefit the Boston Bruins Foundation.
TICKET INFORMATION:
VIP - 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m.: VIP tickets are $400 and include a pre-event meet and greet with the current players. Take the opportunity to get your picture taken with your favorite Bruins players and mingle with current players and alumni; cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served.

General Admission - 6:30 p.m.-9 p.m.: General Admission tickets are $250 and include access to the event, food and wine, and the opportunity to play casino games such as poker, blackjack and roulette alongside your favorite current and former Bruins players.

After Dark Admission - 9 p.m.-12 a.m.: After Dark Admission tickets are $75 and include your favorite casino games and live music.
