BRUINS TO HOST 10th ANNUAL HEART HEALTH NIGHT PRESENTED BY TUFTS MEDICAL CENTER ON 1/26: On Tuesday, January 26 the Boston Bruins are teaming up with the American Heart Association (AHA) as Tufts Medical Center presents the Boston Bruins tenth annual Heart Health Night during their home game against the Anaheim Ducks at 7:00 p.m. Children and adults affected by heart disease will be invited in for the game and take part in various fan experiences throughout the evening. Guests of the Bruins will participate in activities such as bench assistant, high five lines and rides on the ice resurfacer. All in-game fundraising, including the sale of mystery autograph pucks and the 50/50 raffle, will benefit the American Heart Association. Boston Bruins coaches, broadcasters and team personnel will be showing their support by wearing red heart health pins.

50/50 RAFFLE RAISES MONEY FOR DENNA LAING: During Thursday’s game against Vancouver, the Bruins’ 50/50 Raffle benefited the Denna Laing Fund and contributed more than $20,000 to her fund. Laing suffered a severe spinal injury during the Women’s Outdoor Classic on December 31 at Gillette Stadium. For more information, you can visit the Denna Laing Fund’s website at www.dennalaing.org.

DELAWARE NORTH AND BOSTON PROPERTIES TO CELEBRATE GROUNDBREAKING OF ‘THE HUB ON CAUSEWAY’: On Wednesday, January 27 Delaware North and Boston Properties will celebrate the groundbreaking of the newly named ‘The Hub on Causeway’ development. Developed by a partnership between Delaware North and Boston Properties, the mixed-use development will stand on the site of the original Boston Garden. Mayor Martin J. Walsh (City of Boston), Jeremy Jacobs (Chairman of Delaware North & Owner of the Boston Bruins), Charlie Jacobs (CEO Delaware North Boston Holdings), Bryan Koop (Senior Vice President and Regional Manager of Boston Properties) and Amy Latimer (President of TD Garden) will be present. 2016 ISU WORLD FIGURE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS MEDIA DAY AT TD GARDEN: Fresh off winning their titles at the US Figure Skating Championships in St. Paul, Minnesota, members of Team USA will come to the TD Garden to check out the ice and be welcomed to Boston by Mayor Marty Walsh. The 2016 ISU World Figure Skating Championships will be held at TD Garden March 28- April 3. This is the first time the World Championship event will be held in the Hub. Mayor Marty Walsh (City of the Boston), Charlie Jacobs (CEO Delaware North’s Boston Holdings), Amy Latimer (President, TD Garden), Doug Zeghibe (Executive Director, The Skating Club of Boston), Dr. Ellen Giaminiani (Associated Chief Medical Officer for the 2016 ISU World Figure Skating Championships, Boston Children’s Hospital), Renee Felton (Communication Manager, US Figure Skating). Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Media should enter at back security entrance. Each skater will give a brief performance and be available for one-on-one interviews after the speaking program. KREJCI ACTIVATED, VATRANO ASSIGNED: Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced on Thursday, January 21, that the club activated forward David Krejci from injured reserve and assigned forward Frank Vatrano to the Providence Bruins (American Hockey League).

FINAL TD BANK PASS CLINIC TO TAKE PLACE WITH CANTON YOUTH HOCKEY: TD Bank and the Boston Bruins have teamed up for the tenth straight year to support New England youth hockey through the PASS (Partnership to Assist Skaters and Shooters) clinic series. PASS features a free on-ice clinic conducted by Bruins alumni and members of the Boston Bruins Youth Hockey Development Team. The clinic includes instruction on hockey fundamentals such as skating, passing and shooting, as well as a $1,000 donation from TD Bank to each hosting youth hockey organization. In addition, each individual participant will receive two tickets to a Bruins game as well as a TD Bank P.A.S.S. jersey and gift bag. P.A.S.S. clinics are open to youth hockey players between the ages of eight and 12. The final clinic is being held on January 25 at 6:00 p.m. at the Shea Arena in Quincy, MA. BRUINS ALUMNI TO PARTICIPATE IN HUG FOUNDATION GAME: The HUG Foundation will host their sixth annual benefit game between the Boston Bruins Alumni and the Ice Huggers on Saturday, January 23 at the Rockland Ice Arena in Rockland, MA at 3:00 p.m. The game will benefit the HUG Foundation, which was founded by Alex and Lisa Bezanson of Abington, MA. HUG, stands for “Help Us Give” and was founded with the intention of helping people who may have come upon hard times and need financial assistance. Expected in the line-up are Don Awrey, Rick Middleton and Terry O’Reilly. For more information, please see the “Off Ice & Around the Town” section of The Week Ahead.

SUPERB SPECIAL TEAMS: The Bruins power play is now ranked second in the NHL. The team is 33 for 122 (27.0%), with the highest percentage being 27.1% (WSH). The Bruins penalty kill has also improved to 84.5%, moving up to sixth best in the league. The Bruins are third in the NHL for number of goals scored per game with an average of 2.98.

BRUINS ACADEMY: The third episode of “Bruins Academy” airs on NESN on February 13 at 12:30. The second episode aired on NESN January 19 and the premiere episode aired on Sunday, December 20. The series is a fast-paced, educational Black & Gold-themed program created for youth who love the game of hockey. One 30-minute episode will air per month on NESN, and the premiere episode can be viewed on www.BostonBruins.com and on the Bruins mobile app.

BEHIND THE B: To catch up on Episodes 1–8 of Behind the B presented by ALEX AND ANI, head to www.bostonbruins.com/behindtheb. There will be a total of 13 episodes that are slated to air throughout the 2015-16 season and will be narrated by actor and Worcester, MA native Denis Leary.

BRUINS ON THE AIRWAVES: Bruins defenseman Torey Krug has been confirmed as a weekly call-in guest with 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Scott Zolak and Marc Bertrand (Zo and Bertrand), which airs weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Adam McQuaid will be a regular guest on 100.7 WZLX with Kevin Karlson and Pete McKenzie (Karlson & McKenzie), which airs weekdays from 5:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Call-in days and times are dependent upon the B’s schedule.
