SEASON 2 OF BEHIND THE B DEBUTS MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 15: Boston Bruins President Cam Neely announced that Season Two of the Black & Gold’s all-access television series “Behind the B” presented by Alex and Ani, will debut on Monday, September 15 at 8:00 p.m. on NESN with a 9:00 p.m. encore. A total of 13 episodes of “Behind the B” are slated to air during the 2014-15 season, beginning with the special hour-long season debut on September 15. All episodes will again be narrated by actor and Worcester, MA native, Denis Leary.

BOSTON BRUINS 11TH ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT: The B’s will host the 11th Annual Boston Bruins Foundation Golf Tournament on Tuesday, September 16 at The International Golf Course in Bolton, MA. The entire roster of current Boston Bruins players is expected to attend the event as well as Bruins alumni, management and coaching staff. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Boston Bruins Foundation. Media are encouraged to arrive by 9:30 a.m. for player availability, which is expected to take place on the main clubhouse patio. Player availability is subject to change. BERGERON TO BE HONORED AT ‘THE TRADITION’: Patrice Bergeron will be one of the honorees at this year’s ‘The Tradition’ on Wednesday, September 17 at 5:30 p.m. on the arena floor at TD Garden. Bergeron will be the recipient of The Tradition's Community Service Award. The reigning NHL Foundation Award winner for applying "the core values of ice hockey—commitment, perseverance and teamwork—to enrich the lives of people in his community”, Bergeron’s charitable contributions away from TD Garden have been consistent since joining the Bruins as an 18-year-old in 2003.

PRESEASON TICKETS AVAILABLE: Tickets for the Boston Bruins preseason games are available, including matchups with the Washington Capitals (9/24), New York Islanders (9/30) and Detroit Red Wings (10/4). Bruins individual regular season home game tickets for the 2014-15 season presented by the Massachusetts State Lottery, are also on sale now. PASS CLINICS PRESENTED BY TD BANK ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS: TD Bank, America’s most convenient bank, has teamed up with the Bruins for the ninth straight year to support New England youth hockey through PASS (Partnership to Assist Skaters and Shooters). The B’s will begin accepting applications from youth hockey organizations throughout New England to participate in PASS clinics this season with ten organizations being randomly selected to host clinics during the 2014-15 season. To enter please visit www.bostonbruins.com/youthhockey. Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. ET.

BRUINS ROOKIE TOURNAMENT: As part of the 2014-15 Boston Bruins Rookie Camp presented by AT&T, the B’s rookie tournament roster will travel down to Nashville, TN to partake in a round-robin tournament to battle against prospects in the Nashville, Tampa Bay and Florida organizations. A full practice and game schedule for the tournament can be found in the Upcoming Schedule portion of the Week Ahead below.

OFF THE ICE…

PATRICE’S PALS: As a part of his continuing charitable initiative Patrice’s Pals, Bruins alternate captain Patrice Bergeron invites children from local hospitals and other organizations to experience a Bruins home game from his luxury suite. Children and their families receive goodie bags filled with Bruins memorabilia, a visit from the Bruins Mascot Blades and Bruins Ice Girls, as well as a feature on the Garden HDX. After the game, Patrice’s Pals are escorted to ice level and introduced to Patrice himself who signs autographs and takes pictures with his Pals.

COMMUNITY TICKET PROGRAM: For the entirety of the Boston Bruins 2014-15 regular season, Bruins Principal and Alternate Governor Charlie Jacobs is donating ten balcony tickets to every home game to children from charitable organizations across New England, who are invited to enjoy a Bruins home game from these donated seats.
