The Boston Bruins Announce First Round Playoff Information

BOSTON, MA – The Boston Bruins announced today, April 29, their game, practice and media availability schedule for the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoff series against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Playoff credential policies are also outlined below. Please note that all members of the media covering Bruins practices must have a form of valid press identification with them and visible at all times.

Games 1 and 2 of the B’s/Leafs series will be played in Boston at the TD Garden on Wednesday, May 1 at 7:00 p.m. ET and on Saturday, May 4 at 7:00 p.m. ET.  The Leafs will then host the Bruins for Games 3 and 4 on Monday, May 6 at 7:00 p.m. ET and Wednesday, May 8 at 7:00 p.m. ET at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto.  If necessary, Game 5 is set for Friday, May 10 at 7:00 p.m. ET in Boston, while Game 6 will be back in Toronto on Sunday, May 12 (time TBD), and Game 7 will be played in Boston on Monday, May 13 (time TBD).

Television broadcast information is posted below. All playoff games can be heard on the Bruins flagship radio station, 98.5 FM The Sports Hub.

Please see the weekly schedule below for the team’s upcoming practice times and media availability, including a conference call with Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli which will be held on Monday, April 29 at 3:00 p.m. Call-in details can be found below.

Please be aware that Bruins regular season credentials WILL NOT be valid for Bruins home games during the playoffs. Members of the media must submit requests on a game-by-game basis. Please send an email to ewentzell@bostonbruins.com by the respective deadline that contains the information in the CREDENTIALING section below.

Unlike previous years, there will not be a media hotel rate on the road for those members of the press traveling to Toronto.

Members of the media who are approved for playoff credentials can pick them up at the Bruins Media Will Call table from 9:00 a.m. ET – 12:00 p.m. ET and 2:30 – 8:00 p.m. ET on HOME GAMEDAYS.  The Bruins Media Will Call table is located at the Back Security Entrance on the East Side of the TD Garden.

PHOTOGRAPHER POSITIONS (HOME GAMES):
The Bruins will have a total of 28 still photographer positions at the TD Garden for the playoffs.  These positions will be assigned by the Bruins during a photographers meeting which will be held 90 minutes prior to all home games.  The photographers meeting will take place in the Zamboni entrance (level 3), and will be led by a member of the Bruins Communications Staff.
