Ten Day Roadie...

by John Bishop / Boston Bruins
P.J. Axelsson
Hey folks…I'm late giving the lines from today's practice:

White: Schaefer-Savard-Muzz
Gold: Sturm-Bergy-Kobasew
Brick: Axelsson, Krejci, Kessel, Bochenski
Gray: Lucic, Metropolit, Thornton, Reich
D-men: Alberts, Allen, Chara, Ference, Stuart, Ward, Wideman
Goal: Fernandez, Thomas

We are about ready to hop on the plane, but before we left Wilmo, Coach Julien held court and discussed the upcoming road trip.

"You never feel as ready as you'd like to be," said Julien when asked if he felt prepared for the first game. "I think we are ready to go.

"The guys are ready to go right now.

"And I think we're all ready to get going," he said.

Looking forward at Dallas, Julien said that Dallas comes as advertised.

"They are very similar to what they were last year. Defensively, they are pretty sound, even though they got four goals scored on them Wednesday night.

"They are a pretty sound hockey club -- good goaltending, solid D and they do have firepower up front.

"They are a team that you have to respect," he said.

Julien reminded the media that surrounded him after practice that they've earned 100 points in eight of the last ten seasons.

"They are always a good team and very competitive," continued the coach. "They are not an easy team to go against (especially) in their building."
