BOSTON, MA – The Boston Bruins will hold their annual “State of the Bruins” Town Hall Meeting on Monday, September 12 at 5:30 p.m. ET at the TD Garden. Representing the Bruins organization will be Owner Jeremy Jacobs, Principal Charlie Jacobs, President Cam Neely, General Manager Peter Chiarelli, Head Coach Claude Julien, Captain Zdeno Chara, Alternate Captain Patrice Bergeron, and Vezina and Conn Smythe awards winner Tim Thomas.
The Town Hall Meeting gives Bruins season ticket holders and premium ticket holders the opportunity to speak directly with Bruins personnel via a forum setting. Attendees can ask questions and provide comments about the organization and the team. The forum will be moderated by Bruins alum and NESN color-commentator, Andy Brickley. The question and answer session will begin after the Bruins executives discuss the current “State of the Bruins.”
Bruins season ticket holders and premium ticket holders wishing to attend should contact the Bruins Fan Relations Department at 617.624.BEAR (2327).
Members of the media are welcome to attend and record the entire event. Individual speakers will be available for comment following the conclusion of the program. Members of the media should enter through the back security entrance as they would on a regular Bruins gameday. Please bring a valid form of press identification.
Also coming up on the Bruins calendar, AT&T is presenting 2011 Boston Bruins Training Camp open practices on Saturday, September 17 and Sunday, September 18 at the TD Garden. The practices will be free of charge for all attendees. The skate sessions will take place at 10 am and 12:30 pm on both scheduled days.
Doors will open to the TD Garden at 9:30 a.m. on both days. Fans can enter through the main TD Garden escalators on level 1.
