BostonBruins.com - Providence split its two games over the weekend - a 5-3 loss to Syracuse on Friday night and a 6-2 win over Hershey on Saturday - and has won nine of its last 10 games.

Points for Pare

Cedric Pare, Boston's sixth-round pick in last June's draft, had a productive weekend for Saint John of the QMJHL. The 18-year-old forward collected a goal and four assists during two overtime victories for the Sea Dogs. His tally on Friday night tied the game late in the second period.
Pare has 20 points (8 goals, 12 assists) in 32 games this season.

General-ly Speaking

Boston's pair of Oshawa Generals prospects did their part in contributing to two victories over the weekend. Oshawa captain and 2017 second-round pick Jack Studnicka had four assists in the two games and leads the team with 33 points (10 goals, 23 assists) in 34 games.
Goalie Kyle Keyser, signed to a three-year entry-level contract in October, picked up the wins in both games, stopping 55 of 59 shots on the weekend. Keyser, whose impressive rookie camp led to a contract, is 9-6-0 with a 3.04 goals against average and .896 save percentage in the offense-first OHL.
