Tonight’s Game
The Bruins host the Devils tonight in the second of four games between these teams and the first of two games of this season's series at TD Banknorth Garden. The Bruins are 17-10-3 and are 7-3-1 on home ice. The Devils are 16-11-3 overall with an 8-7-3 record on the road. The Bruins are 4-2-1 vs. Atlantic Division teams and they are 13-8-3 overall vs. Eastern Conference foes. The Devils are 3-2-0 vs. Northeast Division teams and they are 15-11-3 overall vs. Eastern Conference opponents.

All-time Series
The Bruins are 60-33-19-6 all-time vs. the New Jersey franchise (includes Kansas City and Colorado) with a 414-341 scoring edge in those 118 games. The Bruins are 32-16-8-4 all-time vs. the Devils franchise in Boston with a 230-187 scoring advantage in those 60 contests. The Bruins have lost their last two games vs. the Devils at 0-1-1, including a 4-3 overtime loss in New Jersey on Dec. 5 in the first game of 's series. The Bruins finished their recent three-game road trip at 3-0-0 with a 2-1 win in Toronto on Dec. 8, a 4-1 victory in Buffalo on Dec. 10 and a 5-3 victory in Atlanta on Dec. 12. The game in Atlanta was the final game of a stretch in the Bruins' schedule that saw them play 11 of 13 games overall on the road (8-4-1 in that span).

Recent Devils Games
The Devils have lost their last two games at 0-1-1 with a 1-0 overtime loss at NY Rangers on Dec. 9 and a 3-2 setback in Washington on Dec. 10. That followed a nine-game win streak as they are 9-1-1 in their last 11 games overall.
