Tonight’s Game
The Bruins visit the Islanders tonight in the third of four games between these teams and the second and final game of the season's series at Nassau Coliseum. The Bruins are 13-9-2 and are 6-7-1 on the road. The Islanders are 13-10-1 overall with a 9-4-1 record on home ice. The Bruins are 3-2-0 vs. Atlantic Division teams and they are 9-7-2 overall vs. Eastern Conference foes. The Islanders are 4-3-0 vs. Northeast Division teams and they are 13-10-0 overall vs. Eastern Conference opponents.

All-time Series
The Bruins are 61-45-21-3 all-time vs. New York with a 441-401 scoring edge in those 130 games. The Bruins are 28-28-10-1 all-time vs. the Islanders in New York with the Islanders holding a 221-207 scoring advantage in those 66 contests. These teams have split the first two games of 's series with each team winning their home portion of a home-and-home series on Nov. 23 in Boston and Nov. 24 in New York by identical 2-1 scores. The Bruins are winless in their last ten games on Long Island at 0-5-4-1 with their last road win over the Islanders a 4-2 victory on Dec. 22, 2001.

The Bruins will conclude their current six-game road trip in New Jersey on Dec. 5 (7:00 p.m., NESN). They will then return home to host Montreal on Dec. 6 (7:00 p.m., NESN) before heading out on the road again to play in Toronto on Dec. 8 (7:00 p.m., NESN), Buffalo on Dec. 10 (7:00 p.m., VERSUS) and Atlanta on Dec. 12 (7:00 p.m., NESN).
