BOSTON, MA - On Sunday, September 27, Bruins forward Patrice Bergeron is hosting a party at Jillian's of Boston (143 Ipswich Street, Boston, MA  02214) from 1:30 p.m.- 4:30 p.m. for the children and families that attended the "Patrice's Pals" suite during the 2008-2009 season.

Each of the children in attendance will bowl, eat lunch and chat with Bergeron throughout the fun-filled afternoon. All of the children invited to the party are patients at Massachusetts General for Pediatric Cancer, Children's Hospital Boston and the Oak Square YMCA.

The 2008-09 season marked the third year of Bergeron's "Patrice's Pals" program. Through "Patrice's Pals," pediatric patients being treated at hospitals throughout Massachusetts and members of local children's organizations are invited to the TD Garden for a Bruins home game as Bergeron's VIP guests. The children watch the game in the official Patrice's Pals luxury suite, enjoy dinner and one of the best seats in the TD Garden as well as receive a personalized video recognition on the Garden HDX Scoreboard. To make the experience even more memorable, each child receives an individual goodie bag of Boston Bruins memorabilia.

Immediately following the game, Bergeron personally meets each of his "Patrice's Pals" guests where he signs autographs and takes photos.

To date, children from Children's Hospital, Boston, the Cam Neely Foundation, Franciscan Hospital for Children, Joslin Diabetes Center, Massachusetts General Hospital for Children, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Big Brother and Big Sister of Massachusetts Bay, Oak Square YMCA, and Shriners Hospital, among others, have all become "Patrice's Pals".
