BOSTON - The National Hockey League announced today, August 13, the league's official 2018-19 U.S. television broadcast schedule. Please note that NESN will broadcast all non-exclusive games locally.
The Boston Bruins will have 14 nationally broadcast games this season on either NBC or NBC Sports Network, including the season opener against the defending Stanley Cup Champion Washington Capitals at Capital One Arena on Wednesday, October 3 at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network. The Bruins are tied with the New York Rangers for the fifth-most nationally televised games, behind the Chicago Blackhawks (18), Washington Capitals (18), Philadelphia Flyers (17) and Pittsburgh Penguins (15).

The 2019 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic, which features the Bruins and Chicago Blackhawks at Notre Dame Stadium on January 1, 2019, will be broadcast on NBC. The NHL Winter Classic has produced the five most-watched regular season games in NHL history.
Other highlights from the broadcast schedule include a home game against the Atlantic Division rival Montreal Canadiens on Monday, January 14; a road game against the defending Western Conference Champion Vegas Golden Knights on Wednesday, February 20; and a home tilt against the defending Atlantic Division Champion Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday, February 28 - all on NBC Sports Network.
