Libraries to Receive Copy of Full 60

BOSTON, MA – In partnership with the Boston Bruins and TD Garden, TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, will be donating the team’s official Championship season commemorative book “Full 60 to History: The Inside Story of the 2011 Stanley Cup Champion Boston Bruins to every library throughout New England to celebrate the start of the 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The 1,500 libraries will receive the hardcover, Full 60 to History commemorative book containing pieces written by Bruins Owner Jeremy Jacobs, President Cam Neely, General Manager Peter Chiarelli, captain Zdeno Chara, Patrice Bergeron, Andrew Ference, Mark Recchi, Tim Thomas and Shawn Thornton and gives readers an unprecedented behind-the-scenes look into the Bruins championship season.

As part of the Boston Bruins “Fan Appreciation Night” held on Saturday, April 7, TD Bank also gave two lucky sections of the TD Garden a copy of Full 60 to History to thank fans for their continued support.

The Boston Bruins are proud to support New England’s libraries and will continue their commitment to the community with the “When You Read You Score” summer reading program presented by EBSCO. The Boston Bruins first teamed up with the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners in 2009 in an effort to improve literacy in Massachusetts. The “When You Read You Score” program incorporates a unique theme each summer to encourage young people to keep reading during their summer break.

The 2011-12 Boston Bruins season is presented by the Massachusetts State Lottery.
