JetBlue Becomes Official Airline of the Boston Bruins

BOSTON, MA – The Boston Bruins and JetBlue announced today, October 1, that they have reached a multi-year agreement making JetBlue the Official Airline of the Boston Bruins and TD Garden. "JetBlue is thrilled to be connected to such a storied franchise like the Boston Bruins and we look forward to many years of fun and excitement together," said JetBlue Senior Vice President of Marketing and Commercial Strategy Marty St. George. The Bruins and JetBlue will host the 2013-14 Bruins Season Takeoff Rally, Presented by JetBlue, on Wednesday, October 2 at Faneuil Hall Marketplace from 1:30 p.m. ET to 3:30 p.m. ET. The Takeoff Rally will celebrate the 90th year of Bruins hockey as well as commemorate JetBlue as the Official Airline of the Boston Bruins and TD Garden.

The 2013-14 Season Takeoff Rally will feature members of the Bruins organization, including Bruins President Cam Neely, Bruins players and JetBlue executives.  The event will be hosted by 98.5 The Sports Hub radio Bruins play-by-play announcer Dave Goucher. The rally is free and open to Bruins fans of all ages where they can enjoy music, interactive elements and a live speaking program. Those in attendance will have the chance to win Bruins and JetBlue prizes, including tickets to Opening Night against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday, October 3, October Bruins games, JetBlue flight vouchers, and TrueBlue points. Throughout the event, the Boston Bruins Ice Girls and Boston Bruins mascot, Blades, will be mingling and taking photographs with fans.

Fans can also register online at or at the Takeoff Rally to “Get Your Boarding Pass” for a opportunity to win one of many Bruins and JetBlue prizes including Boston Bruins tickets, JetBlue flight vouchers, signed Bruins memorabilia, and more during the rally.
