Hoggan Up, Krejci Down

Peter Chiarelli announced that the club has recalled left-winger Jeff Hoggan and assigned center David Krejci to the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Hoggan, a 29-year old first year Bruin, has split the season between Boston and Providence. With Boston Hoggan has played in31 games and has earned two assists. He has also played in 19 games for Providence this season and has scored four goals and seven assists.

Last year, in his first full NHL season, Hoggan played 52 games for St. Louis scoring two goals and recording six assists.

Krejci was recalled by Boston yesterday and played in the club’s 2-1 loss to the Minnesotta Wild last night at the TD Banknorth Garden. Krejci has played in six games with Boston this season. While with Providence this season, Krejci has scored 21 goals and registered 35 assists in 56 games played.
