“It was a lot of fun,” said Bruins forward Milan Lucic
. “It was nice to get a reaction from the fans during the meet and greet, and it was a good way to connect with them.”
Eric Salvador, a season ticket holder for four seasons, called the event “very classy.”
As players mingled with the crowd, season ticket holders were encouraged to take pictures, get autographs and talk with their favorite players about the season and the direction of the team.
Guests, who were rewarded with tickets to the event if they paid in full by June 22, were delighted with the intimate one-on-one face time that the event facilitated.
“I liked the way each and every member of the [team] made you feel like a member of the Bruins family,” Salvador said. “Their conversations were genuine and helped us get to know the person under the helmet.”
“It’s not every day that we get to see our season ticket holders and it was a great time to get to know some of them a lot better,” said Lucic.
“This event only made us more passionate fans,” said Salvador.
In a continuous effort to connect players with season ticket holders, the Bruins front office has worked to incorporate more of these events into season ticket packages.
