Today’s Game
The Bruins host the Islanders today in the first of four games between these teams this season and the first of two games of this season's series at TD Banknorth Garden. The Bruins are 10-7-2 thus far this season and are 6-2-1 this season on home ice. The Islanders are 11-7-0 overall this season with a 4-4-0 record on the road. The Bruins are 1-1-0 this season vs. Atlantic Division teams and they are 6-5-2 overall vs. Eastern Conference foes. The Islanders are 2-2-0 this season vs. Northeast Division teams and they are 11-7-0 overall vs. Eastern Conference opponents.

All-time Series
The Bruins are 60-44-21-3 all-time vs. New York with a 438-398 scoring edge in those 128 games. The Bruins are 33-17-11-2 all-time vs. the Islanders in Boston with a 232-179 scoring advantage in those 63 contests. The Bruins were 1-2-1 vs. the Islanders in last season's series with a 1-0-1 record on home ice. The Islanders won the last game between these teams with a 4-1 victory in New York on Feb. 15, 2007.

Recent Bruins Games

The Bruins have won three of their last four games with a 2-1 win over Buffalo on Nov. 10, a 5-2 win over Toronto on Nov. 15, a 7-4 loss in Montreal on Nov. 17 and a 4-2 victory in Toronto on Nov. 20. They finished their recent stretch of nine straight games vs. Northeast Division opponents at 4-3-2 in that span. The Bruins will tonight play game three of a stretch in the schedule that sees them play eight of nine and 11 of 13 games overall on the road (1-1-0 thus far in that span).

Recent Islanders Games
The Islanders had their two-game win streak stopped with 4-1 loss to Montreal on Nov. 21. That followed a 1-0 victory in New Jersey on Nov. 16 and a 2-1 win at NY Rangers on Nov. 19. They are 6-3-0 in their last nine games overall.

Upcoming Bruins Games
The Bruins will conclude their home-and-home series with the NY Islanders in New York on Nov. 24 (7:00 p.m.; NESN/WBZ Radio). That opens a six-game road trip which will continue in Philadelphia (Nov. 26, 7:00 p.m.), Florida (Nov. 29, 7:30 p.m.), Tampa Bay (Dec. 1, 7:30 p.m.), NY Islanders (Dec. 3, 7:00 p.m.) and New Jersey (Dec. 5, 7:00 p.m.). All games in that stretch are broadcast on NESN and WBZ Radio.

Upcoming Islanders Games
The Islanders will host the Bruins on the back end of this home-and-home series on Nov. 24. That opens a three-game home stand for New York, who will host Dallas on Nov. 26 and Ottawa on Nov. 28.
