Bruins alumni are well represented in the All-Star Skills Competition record books.

In the fastest skater competition, forward Bill Guerin won with a time of 13.690 in 2001. Guerin was a Bruin from fall 2000 to spring 2002.

In the Hardest Shot competition, former B’s defenseman Al Iafrate was the winner in three competitions -- 1990 with a speed of 96 mph, 1993 with 105.2, and 1994 with 102.7. Iafrate was with the B’s during the 1993-94 season.

Goalie Jon Casey allowed only two goals for a share of the lead in the breakaway competition in 1993. Casey joined the Black & Gold for the 1993-94 season.

Accuracy shooting was the domain of defenseman Ray Bourque. Ray’s dominance is unparalleled as he took (or tied for) first place in 1990, ’92, ’93, ’97, ’98, ’99, ’00 and ’01. Bourque was a Bruin from fall 1979 to early spring 2000.
