Five Additional Winners of the Boston Bruins Youth Hockey Team Challenge presented by SBLI

BOSTON, MA – The Boston Bruins and SBLI announced tonight the additional five winners of the "Boston Bruins Youth Hockey Team Challenge" presented by SBLI. These five youth hockey teams were chosen by members of the 2009-10 Boston Bruins based on the essays each team submitted at www.bostonbruins.com. The winning youth hockey teams include: Amesbury (MA) Mite A, Hamden (CT) Bantam B Dragons, Huskies (ME) Bantam A, Springfield Pics Hockey (MA) Mite A and the West Hartford (CT) Pee Wee C. Each team will receive 20 tickets to the upcoming 2010 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic.

The Bruins players evaluated the essays and chose their top five. In addition to winning tickets to the 2010 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic, the Bruins and SBLI will host a private celebration for representatives from each of the 25 "Team Challenge" winning teams including a meet and greet with Bruins Vice President Cam Neely and a special skate on the ice of the outdoor rink at Fenway Park on Saturday, December 19.  

The first 20 winning teams were determined by online votes and those winners were announced on Thursday, December 10. For the complete list, please click here.
