BostonBruins.com - Ryan Donato's torrid performance in South Korea continued on Tuesday, as the Bruins prospect potted two more goals in Team USA's 5-1 victory over Slovakia in the win-or-go-home qualification round of the 2018 Winter Olympics. The Americans move on to play the Czech Republic in the quarterfinals (Tuesday at 10:10 ET on CNBC).
Donato now has four goals in four games during the tournament, matching the total his father, Ted, tallied in eight games at the 1992 Winter Games in Albertville, France.

The 21-year-old Harvard junior opened the scoring for the U.S. on Tuesday when he ripped home a Troy Terry rebound at 1:36 of the second period. Donato, the Bruins' 2014 second-round pick, picked up his second of the night with a power-play tally late in the third that put the Americans up, 5-1.

It was the Scituate, Mass., native's second two-goal game of the tournament. The other also came against Slovakia in the preliminary round. Donato is fourth in the NCAA in goals this season with 21 in 23 games for Harvard.
