BostonBruins.com- Ryan Donato closed out his Olympics experience with another goal on Wednesday, notching the Americans' first tally in an eventual 3-2 shootout loss to the Czech Republic in the quarterfinals of the 2018 Winter Games in South Korea.
The 21-year-old Harvard junior finished the tournament with a team-leading five goals in five games, giving him one more than his father, Ted, had for the U.S. during the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France. Donato also led Team USA with six points.

Donato's goal on Tuesday gave the Americans a 1-0 lead with a blazing wrist shot from the left circle 6:20 into the first period. The Olympic rookie was denied on his attempt in the shootout.
Boston's second-round pick in 2014 burst onto the national hockey scene during the tournament, becoming one of Team USA's most dependable scoring threats while playing on a line with Marc Arcobello and University of Denver standout Troy Terry.
