Devil’s Food For Thought.

by Staff Writer / Boston Bruins
Thoughts on New Jersey

"I think they thrive upon other teams’ mistakes. They sit back and wait and wait and when other teams make mistakes, they pounce. We’re well aware of that and we’re going to limit our mistakes tonight and hopefully jump on them early and make them loosen up their structure…Timmy has been playing fantastic for us back there, and we have all the confidence in the world that he’s going to make, not only the easy save, but also the extremely tough saves he’s made all year."
Defenseman, Paul Mara, on the Devils and Tim Thomas

"Their quick and it’s going to be a fast game, but if we can move the puck into their zone we can try and take advantage of their defense…when you win, you try to roll and have some fun and take it serious, too, in the same sentence. We’ve got a tough match up tonight and we know we have to be ready, so we’ll be ready to go at 7:00."
Forward, Marc Savard, on playing New Jersey and the team’s attitude

Coach speak
"I think that we’re realizing that 60-minutes is 60-minutes, that’s a full hockey game…"
Head Coach, Dave Lewis, on why the Bruins do not panic when they are down

"[Andrew Alberts] played a really good game the other night. He’s getting better and we want him to continue to get better."
Lewis, on Andrew Alberts

"We’ve had some good chances…We’ve changed some things on it and the key is getting it going a little bit quicker so we can set up faster. You get more time in the end zone. IN Montreal they didn’t let us get in the end zone -- so that has an effect on it.
Lewis, on the Bruins power play
