BOSTON - The Bruins hit the ice for practice at TD Garden on Tuesday morning, before the focus shifts to the home opener on Wednesday against the Philadelphia Flyers.
The opening night roster must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday.
David Krejci and David Pastrnak were both absent from the skate.
Krejci left Saturday night's final preseason game in the second period and did not return. Head Coach Claude Julien stressed that it was something "very, very minor" and that they just decided not to push it.
"But there won't be any issues there," Julien said postgame on Saturday.
Krejci joined the team on their weekend trip to Vermont.
While Pastrnak was not on the ice, a number of players are still with the team. Jordan Caron and Craig Cunningham both cleared waivers on Sunday. Bobby Robins was not placed on waivers. Tryout Simon Gagne also remains with the team and practiced Tuesday.
Gregory Campbell continues to skate in his recovery from a mid-core injury that kept him off the ice for the majority of training camp, but he did not join Tuesday's practice. He is not expected to be ready for the opener. Cunningham could slot in for him in the short term.
With Krejci off the ice, below are the practice lines that were implemented for Tuesday's skate.
The Bruins will be taking part in their annual "Media Day" after practice. The players, along with Julien, GM Peter Chiarelli and the Bruins' brass, will all be available to reporters.
