BOSTON, MA – The Boston Bruins – who own the second seed in the Eastern Conference – will face off against the seventh seeded Washington Capitals in the First Round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Game schedules and broadcast information for the series will be determined on Sunday, April 8 and the Bruins Communications Staff will issue a complete release with game/practice details, credentialing procedures and other media information on Sunday after the NHL releases their full first round schedule.
Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli will host a conference call on Sunday, April 8 at 12:30 p.m. ET to discuss the series with the Capitals.
