BOSTON, MA - Former Bruins coach and current Hockey Night in Canada host Don Cherry will be available to the media at 4:30 p.m. in the Bruins locker room hallway at the TD Garden on Thursday, March 4 (Third Floor, Room 9, located in the locker room hallway by the Will McDonough Press Room.)

Tonight is “Don Cherry Night” on NESN during the Bruins/Leafs game, and Cherry will join Kathryn Tappen and Mike Milbury as a guest analyst on the W.B. Mason’s Bruins Face-Off LIVE pregame show at 6:30 p.m. Following the pregame show appearance, Cherry will participate in the ceremonial puck drop. He will also serve as an analyst during NESN’s intermission coverage, where he is expected to do a special “Coach’s Corner” segment.

Don Cherry coached the Bruins from 1974 to 1979, winning the Jack Adams Award for coach of the year in 1976.  Cherry, well known for his passion for hockey and his colorful attire, joined CBC in 1980. Cherry has now been at CBC for 29 years as a commentator and analyst on Hockey Night in Canada and for CBC's Winter Olympics coverage.
