Here is what is/has been going on...
Yesterday: Throughout the day, the Boston Bruins Street Team appeared on several local college campuses, including Harvard, Boston University, Tufts and Merrimack. This is part of a season-long effort to reach out to local high school and college students to generate awareness about the Boston Bruins Student Night program. Student branded t-shirts and student night schedules are among the items that the Street Team handed out.
Today: The Boston Bruins once again had a team walking in the 15th annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk along the Charles. The team consisted of employees, families and friends of the organization! For more information visit www.cancer.org.
Today: Bob Sweeney of the Boston Bruins Foundation, Cleon Daskalakis of Celebrities for Charity, and NESN's "Rubber-Biscuit" will be in Windsor, Nova Scotia, Canada to participate in the 9th Annual Pumpkin Regatta. The episode will run November 24th on NESN. Bob and Cleon will be racing each other in an effort to raise money for their respective charities. 10.15.07-10.17.07: The Boston Bruins Street Team will be distributing pocket schedules and ticket promotion flyers during both the AM and PM commute at commuter rail stations around Boston including Back Bay, South Station, Downtown Crossing, MGH and State Street.
10.16.07: The Boston Bruins and TD Banknorth have teamed up to develop the Partnership to Assist Skaters and Shooters (PASS) Clinic series. The second clinic in the series will take place at the William Chase Arena in Natick, MA from 6:30-8:20pm. The PASS Clinic will teach (80) youth hockey players shooting and skating skills from former Boston Bruins players Lyndon Byers and Craig Janney. All children who participate in the clinic will receive two tickets to an upcoming game, a TD Banknorth/Boston Bruins PASS jersey, water bottle, backpack, skate rag, bag tag and autographs.
10.20.07: The Boston Bruins are partnering with 101.7 WFNX at the Head of the Charles Regatta on the banks of the Charles River in Boston. Within Row-A-Palooza, a designated sponsor tent area with live music throughout the weekend, the Bruins will be promoting the Student Night program, as this event annually draws a large college/ high school following. Enter-to-win ticket contests and t-shirt giveaways will support the Bruins presence, along with free posters and schedules.

Other Stuff B's Begin Home Slate Against Tampa Bay: The Bruins will open up at the TD Banknorth Garden on Thursday, October 18 at 7:00 p.m. ET in a clash with the Tampa Bay Lightning. The game will be televised live on NESN and broadcast live on WBZ 1030 AM Radio. On Saturday, October 20 the B's will take on Chris Drury, Jaromir Jagr and the rest of the New York Rangers at the TD Banknorth Garden at 7:00 p.m. ET.
W.B. Mason's Bruins Face-Off Live: Beginning a half hour before every NESN televised Bruins game, newly named studio host Kathryn Tappen will preview the upcoming game along with Mike Milbury and Barry Pederson from the NESN HD Television Center. After the game, NESN will deliver a complete wrap-up on Granite City Electric's Bruins Overtime Live, the network's half hour postgame show.
