ROAD WARRIORS: The Bruins will embark on their longest road trip of the 2014-15 season that will span 11 days (February 12 – 22) and see the B’s take on five different opponents, traveling 11,304 miles, beginning with the Canucks in Vancouver on Friday, February 13. The Bruins will then travel to Calgary (2/16), Edmonton (2/18), St. Louis (2/20) and Chicago (2/22) before returning to Boston. In total the Bruins will have spent about 960 minutes (16 hours) inside of an aircraft during their travels throughout this road swing.

Forward Gregory Campbell skated in his 700th NHL Game on Tuesday, February 10 against the Dallas Stars. In 700 games, Campbell has posted 67 goals and 105 assists for 172 points along with 605 career penalty minutes.

The last time the Bruins played Dallas on January 20, Dougie Hamilton broke his career high point total of 25 with a two point performance. Hamilton is currently setting career highs in goals (nine), assists (20) and points (29) while playing in all 54 of Boston’s regular season games. He is currently on pace for 14 goals and 30 assist for 44 points this season.

THREE SHORTYS: The Bruins entered Tuesday’s game as the only team in the NHL that had not allowed a shorthanded goal and gave up two such scores to Dallas. The last time there were three shorthanded goals scored in a Boston game was on Apr. 10, 2013 when the Bruins scored two (Daniel Paille, Gregory Campbell) and New Jersey’s one (Travis Zajac) in a 5-4 Boston win. Former Boston defenseman Johnny Boychuk took an unsuccessful shorthanded penalty shot in that game as well.

243 AND COUNTING: Following Tuesday’s home game against the Dallas Stars, the Boston Bruins have sold out 243 straight regular season and playoff games. This sellout streak began on December 5, 2009 against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The last game the Bruins did not have 17,565 in attendance at the Garden was on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 when they hosted the Tampa Bay Lightning (16,553).

@ESPNJoeyMac (Joe McDonald, The Bruins should have a raffle and the winner gets the bull gang's ice crew to come shovel their driveway.

This week’s honorable mentions listed in no particular order:
@GlobeFluto (Fluto Shinzawa, Boston Globe): Krug vs. Strome. Ouch. Kind of like Gronkowski vs. puck.
@AmalieBenjamin (Amalie Benjamin, Boston Globe): I'm hoping Dougie plays the first period as Elsa.
@TheBruinsBlog (Matt Kalman,,, The Bruins lines that start don't matter. It's how they finish that matters.
@DanCagen (Dan Cagen, MetroWest Daily News): So much space for bruins in neutral zone. Had none Sunday. Playing Stars is hopping onto Autobahn. Playing Habs is drive around snowy Boston
