Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli has announced that three additional players have been released from the club’s training camp.
Defenseman Johnny Boychuk
has been placed on waivers, and if he clears waivers, he will be assigned to the Providence Bruins (AHL).
Additionally, right-wingers Byron Bitz and Martins Karsums have been assigned to Providence.
The remaining 31 players in Bruins camp will depart for Stowe, Vermont tomorrow, where they will spend three days practicing and taking part in team building exercises.
The Bruins will then take on the Canadiens in Montreal on Wednesday, October 1 in a preseason game at 7:30 p.m. ET.
