All walkers are encouraged to raise as much money as possible from family, friends, co-workers and business associates in support of their participation in the walk.

Bruins fans can register for the Boston "Walk with Us To Cure Lupus" online at http://walk.lupusresearch.org/boston by emailing evega@lupusresearch.org, jmarks@lupusresearch.org or by phone at 866-WALK-ALR.

The Alliance for Lupus Research was founded in 1999 through the vision and commitment of Robert Wood Johnson IV, Chairman of the New York Jets. The ALR's mission is to prevent, treat and cure lupus through medical research. The ALR is the largest private donor for lupus research and has committed more than $65 million to lupus research. The ALR Board of Directors funds all of the ALR's administrative and fundraising costs, allowing 100-percent of all donations received to go directly to support lupus research programs.
