B's Announce Second Round Schedule

BOSTON, MA - The Boston Bruins announced their game, practice and media availability schedule for the 2011 Stanley Cup Playoff Semifinal series against the Philadelphia Flyers.  The club also announced the ticket on-sale information for the first three home games of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

The Bruins will not practice on Thursday, April 28, however Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli will hold a press conference in the TD Garden Press Conference Area (Gray Walls) at 12:30 p.m. Media can enter the TD Garden through the Media/Back Security Entrance as they would on a regular Bruins gameday. 

Games 1 and 2 of the B’s/Flyers series will be played in Philadelphia at the Wells Fargo Center on Saturday, April 30 at 3:00 p.m. ET and on Monday, May 2 at 7:30 p.m. ET.  The Bruins will then host the Flyers for Games 3 and 4 on Wednesday, May 4 at 7:00 p.m. ET and Friday, May 6 at 8:00 p.m. ET at the TD Garden. If necessary, Game 5 is set for Sunday, May 8 at 3:00 p.m. ET in Philadelphia, while Game 6 will be back in Boston on Tuesday, May 10 (time TBD), and Game 7 will be played in Philadelphia on Thursday, May 12 (time TBD).

Tickets for the first three home games of the Eastern Conference Semis against the Philadelphia Flyers will go on sale at 11:00 a.m. ET on Thursday, April 28.

Tickets will be available for purchase at the TD Garden Box Office, on www.bostonbruins.com and via phone by calling Ticketmaster at 800.745.3000.

The purchase price for single game tickets for a Boston Bruins playoff game at the TD Garden in a given round of the playoffs that is NOT played because the round has been concluded will be refunded in full, including any associated fees.  Any refunds will be issued to the same method of payment as the original purchase. 

Purchases made through TicketMaster via internet or by phone of any such ticket will be refunded within two business days of the end of the playoff round.  

Purchases at the TD Garden Box Office or a Ticketmaster outlet for unplayed games must be returned in person at point of purchase for refund which will be given via the same method of payment.

Tickets purchased for a given round of the playoffs are not usable for subsequent rounds or any other game, and do not guarantee access to tickets for subsequent rounds or any other game.

Television broadcast information is posted below. All playoff games can be heard on the Bruins flagship radio station, 98.5 FM The Sports Hub.

Please be aware that Bruins regular season credentials WILL NOT be valid for Bruins home games during the playoffs.  Members of the media must submit requests on a game-by-game basis.  Please send an email to MediaIntern@bostonbruins.com by the respective deadline that contains the information in the CREDENTIALING section below.

Requests must be submitted 48 hours prior to the respective game’s start time. Applications that do not include all of the above fields may be denied.  Applicants will be notified upon approval/denial within 24 hours of submission. 

Members of the media who are approved for home playoff credentials can pick them up at the Bruins Media Will Call table from 9:30 a.m. ET - 8:30 p.m. ET on GAMEDAYS.  The Bruins Media Will Call table is located at the Back Security Entrance on the East Side of the TD Garden.
 
PHOTOGRAPHER POSITIONS (HOME GAMES):
The Bruins will have a total of 28 still photographer positions at the TD Garden for the playoffs.  These positions will be assigned by the Bruins during a photographers meeting which will be held 90 minutes prior to all home games.  The photographers meeting will take place in the Zamboni entrance (level 3), and will be led by a member of the Bruins communications staff.

MEDIA HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS:
Members of the media planning on traveling to Philadelphia will have access to a preferred team rate. Visit the Bruins Media Website on Thursday for more information.
