CONFERENCE LEADERS ON DECK, FIVE GAME HOMESTAND FOLLOWS: The B’s will play both Conference leaders in the coming week, as they visit the Eastern Conference leading Toronto Maple Leafs Saturday night, November 5 and then host the Western Conference leading Edmonton Oilers on Thursday, November 10. The Leafs Phil Kessel currently leads the NHL in scoring with 20 points on ten goals and ten assists while linemate Joffrey Lupul ranks third with 16 points on eight goals and eight assists. The Oil have a balanced offensive attack paced by their young guns Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Jordan Eberle and Taylor Hall as well as veteran Ryan Smyth. Smyth and Nugent-Hopkins are tied for the team lead in scoring with 11 points apiece while Eberle and Hall are not far behind at 10 and nine points, respectively. Goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin has been stellar in net and currently leads all goaltenders in Goals Against Average (0.98 GAA), is second in save percentage (.963) and has not been defeated in regulation (6-0-2 record).

After their visit to Toronto, the Bruins return home for the next five contests, including three next week. They host the New York Islanders on Monday, November 7, Edmonton Oilers on Thursday, November 10 and Buffalo Sabres on Saturday, November 12. All of these games have the same start time/broadcast info, as they all begin at 7 and can be watched on NESN and heard on 98.5 The Sports Hub.

BRUINS TO VISIT HOCKEY HALL OF FAME ON FRIDAY: The Bruins will visit the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto on Friday afternoon, November 4 for a full team autograph signing (10 Front Street West, Toronto, ON M5E) from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. The autograph signing is open to the public and free of charge with paid admission to the Hall (on a first come, first serve basis).

MO-VEMBER: Bruins Patrice Bergeron and Shawn Thornton will be leading the Mo-Vember fundraising for the Bruins this year, by maintaining mustaches throughout the month. Fans can visit the page and learn how to donate to Bergeron and Thornton’s efforts or how to start their own Mo-vember fundraising page. will track the player’s progress throughout the month by adding photos regularly. All money collected will benefit prostate-cancer related research and funding.

FIVE B’S DONATE 5K EACH FOR TROOPS: Johnny Boychuk, Andrew Ference, Nathan Horton, Milan Lucic and Dennis Seidenberg will each donate $5,000 so that military members and their families can attend the Bruins/Devils game on Tuesday, November 15. November 15 is “Military Appreciation Night” at the Garden and the Bruins will honor military members and their families throughout the evening through a variety of activities.

ATTENDANCE NOTE: Including the Bruins/Sens game on Tuesday, the Bruins have now sold out their last 92 consecutive games at the TD Garden, including regular season and playoffs. This streak began on December 5, 2009 against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The last game the Bruins did not have 17,565 in attendance at the Garden was on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 when they hosted the Tampa Bay Lightning (16,553).

The Boston Bruins Foundation is raffling off the jersey of Bruins legend Bobby Orr, who wore the jersey during the Stanley Cup banner raising ceremony on October 6, 2011. Tickets will be on sale until Friday, November 18. Tickets for the raffle can be purchased online at for $5.00 per ticket, with the net proceeds benefiting the Boston Bruins Foundation.

In support of Military Appreciation Night, Bruins players will be serving food to residents at the New England Center for Homeless Veterans on Tuesday, November 8. Bruins players Johnny Boychuk, Andrew Ference, Nathan Horton, Milan Lucic and Dennis Seidenberg each donated $5,000 to the Boston Bruins Foundation to purchase tickets for soldiers and their families to attend the Bruins Military Appreciation Night game against the New Jersey Devils on November 15 at 7:00 p.m.

P.A.S.S. (Partnership to Assist Skaters and Shooters) is a 10-clinic series conducted by the Boston Bruins and sponsored by TD Bank. P.A.S.S. focuses on teaching youth hockey players between the ages of 8 and 12 basic hockey skills. All participants receive a jersey and gift bag. TD Bank also presents each hosting youth hockey organization with a $1,000 donation.
