BRUINS PLAYOFF SPIRIT DAYS: The Boston Bruins Community Relations and Youth Hockey Teams and Xfinity will hold Boston Bruins Playoff Spirit Days at Gardner Pilot Academy on Monday, April 29 and Edison K-8 School on Thursday, May 2. The program is an interactive, 45-minute rally that teaches participants how waive a rally towel and includes a relay race and shootout. In addition to the program, the schools receive full sets of Franklin Sports, Bruins-branded street-hockey equipment and a Class Pack to utilize in physical education classes.
WATCH A BOSTON BRUINS ALUMNI GAME: The Boston Bruins Alumni will travel to the Cape and the Vineyard for a three-game stint this weekend. They start on Friday, April 26 at the Tony Kent Arena in South Dennis in a benefit game for the Alexander Ian Diamantopoulos Yarmouth/Dennis Youth Hockey Scholarship Fund, with puck drop set for 6:00 p.m. Donations will be accepted at the door. Rick Middleton, Reggie Lemelin and Dan LaCouture are expected in the lineup. On Saturday, April 27, the alumni travel to Martha's Vineyard for a 1:00 p.m. game benefiting the Martha's Vineyard Community Ice Arena in Vineyard Haven against the Martha's Vineyard Mariners. Tickets are $20 and children aged 5 and under are free. Expected in the lineup are Rick Middleton, Joe Mullen, Paul Mara, Jay Miller and Dan LaCouture. On Sunday, April 28, the Bruins Alumni return to the mainland for their final game of the season against the Old Colony Police & Fire at the Bog Ice Arena in Kingston, MA. Game time is set for 2:00 p.m. and will benefit the Kingston Police Association. Tickets are $20 and children under 14 are free. Rick Middleton, Andrew Raycroft, Bob Sweeney, Bill Bennett and Joe Mullen are expected to take the ice with the team.
